HOW IT WORKS
SIGauctions.com launches new auctions each month.
In order to bid in any of our auctions, you must first register with our online auction system. Once you are a registered bidder, you will receive an email notification when the auction goes live. You may then browse all the auction items available, which are organized by category.
If you see an item in which you’re interested, all you need to do is bid! If someone outbids you, you will receive an email notification and you can bid again until the end of the auction. Registered bidders may bid on any lot throughout the duration of the auction. We use a 30-Minute Rule that goes into effect at 9 PM EST the night the auction closes. All lots with two or more bids at 9 PM EST will remain open to all bidders. The 30-Minute Rule pertains to each lot and the lot will close after 30 minutes without a new bid. If a bid is placed, the 30-minute timer will be reset and the 30-minute countdown will restart. If you are the current high bidder on a lot and you change your ceiling bid after 9 PM EST, this will not extend the bidding time. Only a bid placed by another bidder or a higher "straight bid" placed by the current high bidder will reset the ending time on that lot. This rule provides all bidders the opportunity to bid on the lots they are eligible to bid on without getting "sniped" due to time constraints.
If your bid at the end is the highest … you win! A copy of your final invoice with shipping, insurance, and any applicable taxes will be emailed to you within 48-hours after the auction is officially closed. Once invoices have been emailed, you can also view your invoice by signing into your bidder account where you can pay by credit card or PayPal, or print a copy to mail with a check or money order payment. If you pay in full with cash, check or money order, then your Buyer's Premium will be discounted by 4%
Please note that any lot with zero or one bid will automatically close at 9 PM EST without a winner. Any lot with a single bid at 9 PM EST will close and be awarded to that single bidder.
