When will the next auction start?
Auctions run several times per year. Please view the homepage for the most up-to-date auction information.
How do I bid?
Once you are registered, you can go to our live auctions, browse the items and when you find something interesting place your bid.
May I withdraw from my bid?
Once bids are made they cannot be retracted by a registered user.
How do I pay for my auction winnings?
Once the auction has ended you may login to your bidder account and pay with a credit card or PayPal. Your invoice is also available to download so you may mail in a payment.
What is the 30-minute rule?
We honor the 30 Minute Rule that is in effect at 9PM EST the night of the auction. Registered bidders can bid on any lot throughout the entire auction duration. Bids do not have to be placed prior to the 9 PM EST pre-close. All lots with 2 or more bids at 9 PM EST will remain open to all bidders. These lots can receive competitive bids until auction end. Any lot with a single bid or has zero bids at 9 PM EST, will close and be awarded to that single bidder. The 30 Minute Rule pertains to each lot and the lot will close after 30 minutes without a new bid. If a bid is placed, the 30 minute timer will be reset and the 30 minute countdown will restart. If you are the current high bidder on a lot and you change your ceiling bid after 9PM, this will not extend the bidding time, only a bid placed by another bidder or a higher "straight bid" placed by the current high bidder will reset the ending time on that lot. This rule provides all bidders the opportunity to bid on the lots they are eligible to bid on without getting "sniped" due to time constraints.
What happens if I am outbid?
You will receive outbid notifications via e-mail on every item for which you are bidding. It has been our experience that many internet service providers (AOL in particular) and email programs will randomly identify these e-mails as spam and will delete them or delay delivery. As this is out of our control, we are unable to rectify this issue. As a result, we strongly recommend users to track their bids on our website as we cannot guarantee timely delivery of the notification e-mails through many ISPs.
Should I authenticate my collectibles?
There are many instances when the cost of having a third-party authentication issue a letter of authenticity may actually cost more than the item would sell for at auction. Please contact us for an appraisal of your collectibles and let us discuss whether the cost of having your items authenticated will be beneficial to you when it comes time to sell your items.
When do I get paid?
We offer some of the fastest payouts in the industry. Auction payouts can be had as early as one week after the auction ends. Contact us for details.
